Silicon Eurocluster Empowers 25 SMEs with Green Financial Support
The Silicon Eurocluster initiative has successfully concluded its Green Financial Support open call, selecting 25 SMEs from across Europe to receive financial assistance aimed at promoting sustainable transformation within the electronics sector. Each chosen SME has been awarded €3,600 to engage external consultancy services, facilitating their transition towards greener business practices.
The call attracted numerous applications from SMEs operating in various areas of the electronics ecosystem, including radio communications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, energy harvesting, photonics, and sensors.
This initiative is part of Silicon Eurocluster's broader mission to enhance European self-sufficiency, competitiveness, and resilience in the electronics value chain, with a particular focus on supporting SMEs. By providing financial support for green consultancy services, the project aims to assist SMEs in adopting more sustainable business practices, thereby contributing to a greener and more digital European economy.
